NextCatch 1.0: The first build
NextCatch began on January 19, 2026, as a single list of Pokémon GO events you could search and filter.
NextCatch started with one question: what's happening in Pokémon GO, and when? The first build answered it with a simple event list.
- A list of upcoming Pokémon GO events
- Search and filters to find an event quickly
- Saved events protected by iPhone data protection
Seven weeks of building and testing followed before NextCatch reached the App Store.
